Falling Into Autumn....

Aahhhhh, what a beautiful Saturday morning! As much as I hate seeing Summer go away, I do love the Fall. The leaves are changing here and for those of you that have been on my new street...it's just beautiful now! All the brick buildings on my quiet street, with the colored leaves...it's just precious!

I shouldn't be writing for too long because well, it was a very busy week and I can't pinpoint everything to write about. And also, because I'm meeting up with Danielle today to do a little hiking. I'm so excited! I can't wait to be outdoors in the fresh Fall air for the afternoon. And me and Danielle haven't had the chance to hang out in a long time. We have some serious catching up to do!

So the quick update! Last weekend was awesome back in New Hampshire. I caught up with Auntie, had some drinks with Nick, coffee with the 'rents, and the rest of the day with Kristin, Mark, and the girls! I totally needed to see my family. I have been working so much I felt like I hadn't seen them in so long. It was a good refresher and well...Nashua will always be my home! As Mark was saying since I hadn't seen them in about 3 weeks, "How has she done her laundry?" Don't you worry...I documented how I did(n't) do my laundry!

Ummmmm...yeaaahhhhh. That's 2 laundry baskets and some of the floor! Yikes!

So I spent the first two days of last week showing some of those new products I wrote about last time. Still going strong with those. It's so easy to walk into places and tell them about new products. I mean, they all love my jokes, but sometimes food is a good topic for me to chat about!

Wednesday I was back in New York. We are rolling out a new line of pasta that is sweeping the Restaurant Industry by storm! I love it! Unfortunately all the NYC reps took all the samples that day (although they didn't drive 3.5hours each way) so I just got a shipment of samples in the mail yesterday. This upcoming week I'll be going everywhere with this stuff and I just can't wait! I've been talking to my chefs about it, so I'll be out and about a bunch.

And it's okay for me to be out and about now...why??? Because I met with my boss on Wednesday while I was in the Bronx and they gave me a new helper on the inside. And she will be kind of like my right hand woman! She's been with the company for a long time and knows our products in and out. She will be calling my customers and placing my orders so I don't have to run back everyday to get them in. I'm soooo excited about that! I'm pretty successful when I'm out seeing the chefs so I'm hoping this will really help me on my upward slope of sales!

On the way back from New York I stopped into my favorite little chocolate cafe! Torben is the pastry chef there (you've probably seen him on the FoodNetwork too!) so he sat down while I had a snack for the ride home. The traffic was pretty bad on 95 so I pulled in there for some food and a coffee for the road. They told me which way to come back and dodge the traffic. It was great most of my friends from there were in working so I saw Cristel, Ana, Line, Kristine, Judy....and then Tim from my work walked in with some truffles for them! It's nice being able to stop in for coffee somewhere in Norwalk, CT and end up staying an hour because you see so many great people!

Ok, I'm just chatting away and I really need to get on the road. I hope everyone else gets to enjoy the beautiful weekend...we don't know how many of these we'll have left??? So get outside, pick apples, and swing!

Chow,

KK :-)
