Tomorrow!

Can't believe it's here, eh? - Kelli already made it to Vancouver and said it's just beautiful. The place we're staying is really nice and in a great, cutesy area. I can't wait to see it. For some reason I thought I was landing at 10:30AM, but it's not really until 12:30. That's okay though...

So in case you're interested in trying to catch us on tv, Sunday we will be debuting at the 2-man bobsled finals. They are at 1:30pm in Whistler or 4:30 eastern standard time. The sliding center is about 3 hours from Vancouver and we've already got our bus tickets and transportation there planned. We're hoping to get there early so we can visit Whistler village for a bit. Looks like a really cool place, eh?

We will also be sporting red, white, and blue at curling on Tuesday. That's from 9am to 12 or noon until 3 here. I don't know when they will be airing those here so I would recommend checking your local listings! haha Always wanted to say that.

We've picked out some other Vancouver - touristy things we want to make sure we don't miss. You might be able to catch us at Grouse Mtn. on the Today Show. As long as we can make it there by 4am there's a good chance we'll be on tv, eh! That reminds me to make a sign tonight....

I'm really excited and somewhat scared for the Capilano Suspension bridge. I'll most likely post pictures from that on Tumblr just because I'll be proud of myself for crossing. But it looks like a beautiful place - and it is now made of steel with 13 tons of concrete on each side to hold it in. Although I'm sure in the middle it's a little rickety.

I haven't been that good at updating my tumblr site, but I'll probably do better there. Just a reminder (even though the link is at the right there) it's http://karenk8880.tumblr.com

Ok, I have a lot to pack and only one suitcase...should be interesting to see how I fit it all in, eh?

Chow,
