There's not really much new in the world of food for me right now. I have a really big event coming up on May 12th, at least I'm hoping it's going to be big, so I'm getting invitations out for that. It's actually helping me to walk into kitchens that aren't my accounts right now. Hopefully I'll get some new business from this. I also have a special on Lamb this week...Since I've totally given up on short ribs, let's see how this goes. In case you're curious, you can be sure to see prices in the grocery stores go up...flours and grains are definitely on the rise, and around this time of year milk goes up...expect about 4 or 5 cents up on the gallon. I'm getting good, aren't I?
Ok, enough boring talk...We did have a party here this past Saturday and I was so happy to see my sister and brother (in-law) show up. Nick and Bistra came too, and they had some friends with them. Plus the usual crowd that's here for our gatherings. We had really wanted to be outside for a cookout, but it was just too cold...guess we'll have to have another one once it's warmer!

Yes, that's my bowling shirt...and yes it says "Princess Bowler" on the back, and I love it! I think Mark took this picture which is why he isn't in it. But he was at the party...I know for a fact because we beat him at Beirut too! :-)
Ok, I've got to buckle down...usually I'm really slow on Thursday mornings because of volleyball the night before, but last night we all behaved and just had some good, old fashioned fun. Harmless hugs included! I got some new pics from Uncle Ronny from Denver so I'll post those on here. If you want the site for all my pics just email me, because I won't post that site here....Happy Thursday!
Chow,
KK
