Lisa's Here!!!

I'm so excited for Lisa's visit...we haven't worked together and hung out in the longest time. We have so much to catch up on. It's a good thing we're good at what we do together, otherwise it wouldn't be nearly as much fun! Work hard, play hard, right???

The weirdest things have been happening now that I actually have control of the tv remote and watch more tv....I was watching a new show that was recommended to me last week and the girls on the show planned this big party in Manhattan. Low and behold, it was at the Houston where I spent 2 nights hanging out this past June for the Fancy Food Show! I guess it's really not a big deal, but still felt cool.

So then I was watching this movie where a guy heads to New York to work on a political campaign...he stayed in the hotel I have stayed in twice there!! And it wasn't like you just saw the outside of the hotel...I was like, I've been in that lobby...and...I went in that exact elevator! Too bad I wasn't there then, because he's quite a looker, HA!

And then, this morning I was watching the Today Show. Well, let me tell you about my morning commute first. I wake up (practically in my kitchen), turn on my kitchen light, which has a dimmer so my eyes don't have to open wide right away! Then I make my coffee, make my bed, and head upstairs to turn on my computer and see who's called so far. Then it's back downstairs to get my coffee and back upstairs to start my day. I know, you're really jealous of my commute right about now! But I do have the tv on in the morning because I flip between 7 News, CNN, and then the Today Show. It keeps me informed and up on current events so I can have a normal conversation with someone. Well, Today on the Today Show there was one of my trucks in the window behind Matt Lauer...speaking of lookers! Mr. Lauer, not the truck.

Like I said, it's really not a big deal, but it is kinda cool and I saw all this in one week. So I just had to share. Now I gotta finish up stuff so I can meet up with Lisa and have a great day. Hope you do the same!
