Vote for a Mavericky Team!!!

Can you believe it's finally Election Day??? I'm kind of nervous because I'm not sure how many people will be voting for the Mavericks pictured there, but I really hope there's an upset today and that they win. After a rather late Monday night (who has a party on a Monday..oh right, I did once), I bounced out of bed this morning all excited to vote. Now that I have to pick up Ellie before 9 every day, I usually just walk over there in sweatpants and a sweatshirt. Not today my friends! I figured I'd vote on the way and since there's usually tv cameras around election centers I wanted to look good! So I threw on jeans and a sweatshirt...ok not a huge improvement, good thing my natural good looks don't need much effort. Ummmmm, yeah.

At any rate the line was way too long so I just picked up Ellie and headed home for some breakfast. I treated myself to a box of Golden Grahams this week, so I poured the bowl, added the milk, went in for my first bite and was unpleasantly surprised to find out the milk went sour. Gross! Ew. Ok, new bowl...this day isn't going as planned and it's only 9:00am. Plus, when I was getting dressed I dropped my deodorant and the cap bounced into one of my shoes. Which shoe? Took a while for me to figure out too. Good thing deodorant is kind of like a fig newton so even though it cracked I squished it back together. Ay, ay, ay....

I saw Hilary interviewed this morning and I feel somewhat bad for her. Why?

A1. Because I don't know WHO did her hair this morning??? But I have not used the word "cow-lick" since the 6th grade (maybe 7th), and she's bringin' that back.

B2. Because I think she's a hard worker and deserved to be on the ballot more than this Obama guy. If our country ends up in his hands, I just....you know, I'm not even going to think about it.

C3. Because I wanted the list to look substantial I added C3. I'm actually done.

Ok I'll wrap this up because I'm sure I'll update later as I follow the election. Once I deliver that pomegranate molasses downtown I'm sitting my a-money in front of the tv during work. Working and watching history in the making...talk about multi-tasking!!

Pics from Saturday Night's Festivities....
Palin and Joe the Plumber

Sarah Palin and Peg Bundy

No wonder I like Palin so much...she takes just as many pictures of herself as I do!

Time for me to go vote!!!! Yay!

Chow, KK :-)

PS - I had the best time playing in the leaves with these two lovely ladies this weekend!
