I'll never forget where I learned that joke...it was on the side of a box my sister sent to me in college for a Halloween care-package. I think I've been using it ever since! I met up with her and the girls last night for some trick or treating. Of course, I was late, because of work. But I quickly changed and met them on the trick or treat path. As Katie stated, "what a great night for trick or treat!"
Speaking of Katie...today she turns 4! She was so cute this morning. I'm not sure what's gonna happen when she gets older, but I think she has a pretty athletic side to go along with her shoe/jewelry fettish! Tomorrow's the big Birthday Party and I'm sure she will have a super day today.
I'm kind of in a slump as far as what to write?? I've been more into following other people's blogs (awaiting a Disney recap....) than sharing my own stories. I feel like I have a lot to say but I'm just not sure how to get it all out. I never thought I'd have writer's block? It's like I grew up knowing I'd be involved in sports and just wear sweatpants everyday....now I feel like a businesswoman (learning a little more each day) who is really getting into fashion. I laughed at myself the other day when I left my apartment with the wrong shoes on! What I had on probably would have been fine...I'm sure the guys in the kitchens wouldn't have said anything, but I just had to make sure my shoes matched my pink sweater and red bag. All I was doing was passing out Halloween candy, but for such a small task, everyone seemed to enjoy the special delivery.
Speaking of special deliveries, and since I'm struggling with writer's block...I'll just leave now. Gotta get some balloons for the birthday girl! And I'll leave you with some of the best costumes I've ever seen! There really was nothing like trick or treating in Disney world. And when little girls think you're really the good fairies, well...how can you not smile?

I hope everyone had more treats than tricks yesterday...I'll be sure to post Palin picks from tonight's bonfire bash with Julie on my next post. If it's not before, Tuesday, please vote. I'd like to sway you one way (my way, haha!) but as long as you vote that's the important thing. Otherwise Mark will make you feel like he's disappointed in you! :-)
My name is Karen, and I approve this message. Chow!
