I don't really have much time to write...I'm so excited to get to Paige's dress rehearsal for Disney tonight, but I'm here in the corner of Starbuck's...figured I'd blog super quick.
About what? The stupid guy at the gym today that tried to correct my form on an exercise. Grrrrrrrrr. Being the only female in the weight area is something I've become accustomed to. I know what I'm doing. I don't go there to pick up guys. And I don't care how I look when I'm there. I go to work hard and be done, thank you very much. So after doing one of my favorite back exercises today...this guy had the nerve to put down his broomstick (torso twists are still popular?) and walk over to me and say..."Can I tell you what you were doing wrong, because I hate to see people do this exercise wrong."
I must have looked completely dumbfounded. I'm not saying I'm the perfect exerciser with the perfect body, but I know what I'm doing dumb*ss. Apparently my legs were too straight for his liking. I told him I didn't have time for feedback and needed to proceed with my workout. I refrained from telling him to continue just lifting chest and biceps and not to hurt himself with the broomstick. Geesh! I was SO mad! Kind of like when one guy once approached me and told me I was doing the rowing machine wrong. Gosh, that was another good one. Heaven forbid I fall all the way off that.....
I think it really struck a nerve with me because I know I'm not in the shape I used to be in and it really bothers me that I can't do push-ups anymore. Well...I've been working on them. I can do 15, but I used to be able to do 30. That's a big difference. Oh well.
At any rate...I hope everyone has a Fantastic Valentine's Day!!! I'm so excited to have a Valentine this year. Not that I really do the whole present thing for it, but I've always thought it was a cute holiday. Got myself a bag of conversation hearts to have while I worked today! :-)
Speaking of presents...the Manfriend/Valentine of Mine turns 30 on Sunday, and I'm at a loss for what to get him. So far I just keep reminding him this was his last week in his 20's. I'm such a stinker. So if you have any good ideas please email/text me!!! Enjoy your weekends!!!!
Chow!

Oh and B2. Yes, I did finish the bag of lettuce I bought last weekend. 5lbs of lettuce in 4 days...I love salad!
