This is Kristin and Danielle reenacting what it's like when you win

Here's the winner's...and me

Some others

So...today I got to meet some more of the Manfriend's family. His aunt and uncle came to visit from Haverhill. Now, I've completed 6 lessons of Pimsleur's Greek course. I can say everything from those lessons and I can pick up some words here and there. But I have a bone to pick with the Pimsleur people. I've learned how to ask where Amaleus Boulevard and Victory Street are, BUT I have no idea how to say things like "nice to meet you" or "wow, those are nice shoes." I find myself surrounded by Greeks lately and not one of them has mentioned Amaleus Boulevard or Victory Street. Honestly..."Then-men-yazzey po ine ee-oh-those." I have NO idea how to spell these words, but that basically means "I don't care where the streets are."
I'm also a little nervous to speak the Greek I do know in front of his family. I'm afraid I'm gonna mess up and tell someone they look funny or something. But I had a little chuckle today when the Manfriend's uncle was talking about an oil change and he mentioned something about pathetic oil. We realized he meant synthetic oil, giggled, and I still said nothing in Greek. I'll start speaking it soon enough.
But for now...Kahyeenixis <-- That's close enough to good night!
Chow!
