School Projects

I used to love doing projects for school. I guess I like expressing what I learn in presentation form more than writing a paper or something. I guess that's why I like showing food. Although I feel like I'm so stinking busy, I'm enjoying being out every day seeing my customers, and talking with potential customers. It's great and we talk about food.

Today I had a co-worker! Ok, not really. But Paige is doing a school project with Flat Stanley...a flat boy that they are trying to send over the world. So, today he was in Boston. I guess you're supposed to send a postcard, but I kind of went over board.

Stanley came downtown with me this morning...


And he tagged along for my meeting in the North End. Since he was a good sport, we stopped for a cupcake...


And then I pulled over on the way home for a quick second. A trip to Boston isn't complete without a stop at Fenway...


Yeah, I'm a dork. It's ok...I think we've all known that for a long time. But I bet your smiling! :-) Even the Manfriend smiled when he showed up on Wednesday (he was on vacation this week) and he drove me to Foxborough for my appointments. It was perfect...we had lunch at my account, and he did some man-shopping while I visited with other chefs - or should I say, tried to talk to other chefs. Of course I forgot my buffalo mozzarella which I blamed on being way too excited for the first ever "Bring Your Manfriend To Work Day." He laughed and has quickly caught on to Karen's humorisms.

While I was waiting to see some people I took these shots...unfortunately Flat Stanley wasn't around...



Ok, I've got to get my stuff together and get outta here. I'm hoping to hit up the driving range this weekend, but we'll see. A bike ride would be nice as well. I hope you enjoy what ever it is you're up to.
