Heavenly Souffles

Ok, so when we have a new product or there's something I think people will be interested in, I put a little ditty about it in the signature on my emails. And I usually try to use a tagline that goes something like, "Ask me about...." or "Be sure to learn about...." yaddah yaddah. Of course, when I send emails to people the only ones that actually notice and ask are family members and friends. This week really took the cake (I mean souffle) with our new Heavenly Souffles. Not just one, not just two, three people replied to me inquiring about them. Danielle, The Manfriend, and Kristin are all very curious about the souffles and their refills. So without further ado...

That there, is just a retail package. I sell the foodservice package which includes 48 souffles per box. Don't believe me? Call New York and ask someone for Saucissons and you'll get a souffle answer. HAHA Sad, but true. And we will be stocking the refills for those pretty ramekins at some point soon. How about that??? I know...we sell the coolest products!!

So, it's April Fool's Day and sadly I didn't really get too many people with jokes. I was leaving some friends last night right at midnight so I asked if they heard about Kevin Youkilis being traded...got one. Then I Twittered that I saw Ray Lewis at the gym. I'm such a flaky piece of baklava lately that I MEANT to twitter that I saw Ray Allen. Either way...I got a quick response from someone who fell for it. Yes! Then I emailed a friend about getting dinner and mentioned that I won $1,000 on a scratch ticket today. When he replied saying I could pay for dinner I replied with April Fool's!!! So he can pay.

And then the joke turned on me....I brought Ellie back to see Dr. Mike at Dave's Auto and well...she's just about had enough. I'm actually sad. I cried, but only because I was really stressed with work today and it all hit me at once. I was excited when I started looking at cars last weekend, but now that I really have to get rid of her I know I'm gonna miss her. On the ride home from Dr. Mike's (I went really slow...) we thought about things I want in a new car. Here's my Ellie-approved list...

1. A sun roof. I know I don't need one, but I sure would like one.

2. Alloy wheels. I don't know why, but I hear about them in lots of commercials.

3. Cup holders. Do you have to ask why?

4. Seatbelts in the backseat that work.

5. A Casssette player so I can continue to listen to my original Bangles tape. Did you hear I got tickets to see them?? Kristin is going with me... Yay.com!!!

6. Flood lights. Another one I'm not sure about, but Ellie has them and sometimes I put them on just for fun! I mean, she stalls in puddles so the lights wouldn't be much help in a flood.

So, I must be on my way. With Liz's help we sold a lot of food yesterday. I'm hoping we just keep moving on up...you know like the Jefferson's?

Chow!
