Pineland Farms

So I'll take a break from Greece pictures and share some from the farm I'm working for now. So far the job is great. We're really busy gearing up for the Natural Products Expo East in two weeks. It will give us some great exposure, but it is a lot of work getting everything squared away. I think we're almost there!

So. Here's the farm....

I have stayed in the Loft above the Equestrian Center the past three times. I took these pictures outside at night last time...

I also took a walk in the gardens they have there. These are open to the public and there are actually a good amount of weddings that take place here. It's just beautiful!

And this is what we had for lunch one day.....yummmmm!

We were actually taste-testing it because we ran a trial of cattle on strictly grass. We usually feed them grass until they are about 950lbs, and then finish them on grains for the last 400-500lbs. I mean, either way it's delicious meat! I have my first demo coming up this Tuesday at the new Whole Foods store in Dedham. If you haven't been, I suggest checking it out...it's a beautiful store! And if you can't make it you can find our products under the Wolfe's Neck label in most stores.

It's a rainy Saturday so I'm going to make some Outrageous Brownies - Kontessa style!

Until next time - chow!
