You probably think I'm going to get into all that right now, but I'm not. I'm coming off of a great weekend and I really want to relax (after organizing my refrigerator), possibly have a celebratory 1/2 Birthday drink, and watch a movie or something like that. I have a super busy week this week (keep checking my Twitter) so some rest is necessary. And I did just go for a run...so I'm allowed to spend the night on the couch!
I will however, tell you about my weekend. Friday night after work I got to play some Wii before the Manfriend got here. We've been trying to alternate who goes where each weekend, but to be completely honest I really prefer going to New Hampshire. It's home for me and it just always will be.
So. Back to the weekend...
He called on the way to make dinner plans because we both knew we wanted to go out, preferably for Asian food, and we were starving! So I figured, let's go to the Noodle Bar we went to before. It was dead and we most likely won't have to wait. But of course, it was packed Friday night. Luckily we got a seat and quickly ordered our food. I had the pad Thai (which the Manfriend ordered last time), and he got the drunken noodles (which I ordered last time). And last time we ended up switching because the drunken noodles were actually too spicy for my taste. But the kicker came after when he pulled out Big League Chew for me! What a great surprise!!! And after the whole jelly bean incident last week, I totally appreciated it.
Yesterday, we wanted to walk around downtown because it was so warm out. In like, the 30's or something, right? So we headed straight for Legal Seafoods because he was craving oysters. We had a great lunch, I showed him the Jelly Bean Nazi (who needs him when you have Big League Chew?), and then we walked around outside. We stopped in at a Starbuck's and did some people watching over my Grande Colored and his White Mocha Latte. I snapped this pic...hers and his cups. How cute?

So then we came back and I made some triple chocolate cookies that came out just fabulous! We had some...but truth is they are for Anthony. I always make him cookies for Christmas and I'm obviously a little late this year. So Anthony, consider them half Christmas and half Valentine's Day on my half-birthday. Merry Valentine's! :-)
Today we just kind of hung out...went to Restaurant Depot, watched the end of the Celtics game. Then he left and I headed out for a run. What a great day to run. Only problem (which I'm not complaining about) is that there are SO many puddles to hurdle over. Everything is melting!! Yay!!!
Ok, I'm gonna go have some of my homemade chicken tortilla soup and relax. Not sure how much time I'll have to update this week so keep your eye on Twitter. AIWF meeting tomorrow followed by 2 restaurant openings the next two nights and work in between all that!
Hope everyone had a great weekend!!! Thanks for reading my blog for the past 2 years...I hope it's still as enjoyable to read as it is to share my random stories! Here's some of my favorite blogs that I check into almost daily.
